By checking the box and signing below, I acknowledge and agree that I am submitting artwork to The Art League of Nassau County (the "Art League") entirely at my own risk. I hereby voluntarily and knowingly release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the Art League, its officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) of any kind or nature whatsoever, whether known or unknown, arising out of or in connection with the exhibition, handling, transportation, storage, installation, display, removal, return, or any other activity related to my artwork, including but not limited to any damage, loss, theft, destruction, deterioration, misplacement, or disappearance of the artwork, except to the extent such damage or loss is caused by the Art League's gross negligence, willful misconduct, or other conduct for which liability cannot be waived under applicable New York law. I further acknowledge that the Art League does not carry insurance covering my artwork and that I am solely responsible for obtaining any insurance I deem necessary. I understand that this waiver is governed by the laws of the State of New York and that by checking the box and signing below, I am giving up substantial legal rights.
